Workplace Wellness Speaking and Coaching

Have you noticed the trend that is romanticizing quitting corporate and living your passions? Why is the workplace becoming such an unpleasant environment for so many? Referring to it as "soul-sucking", and a "grind".

In 2018, with the freedom and flexibility of a connected world, people are being exposed to other lifestyles and are prioritizing feeling good over making money. There is nothing wrong with quitting your job to create your dreams (I mean, I did...) but many are falsely thinking it's the only option to find happiness. The grass is greener, etc.

What I've learned in my personal pursuit of happiness and fulfilling work is that the biggest changes I've needed to make to find peace and joy have been internal. (I could have saved a lot of time and money, had I known!)

If you can help your employees and co-workers feel at ease, in-control, free and flexible to do their best work and live their best life: they won't feel the need to find that fulfillment elsewhere. Win-win.

Lunch n' Learn Workshops

I'll come out and teach on soft-skill lessons that are important to your people.

Popular topics include:

  • Incorporating Self-Care Practices into Your Workday

    • Stress is a state of mind, and NOT the best one for productivity or creativity.

Learn how to be calm and collected and keep your wits about you by strategically incorporating self-care into your day. You will also learn how to shift your thoughts over time so you experience fewer stress responses throughout your day. Leaving you to focus on what is important and feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

We were not made to operate in a high-stress mode for days at a time. And unfortunately, we are seeing higher numbers of burn out, stress leave, and anxiety than ever before. We must learn to relax, let go of what we can't control, and focus on what we can control in order to be happier, healthier and more successful in the workplace.

  • Creative and Innovative Mindsets

    • Criticism and negativity kill creativity. We make it rather hard on ourselves to think "blue sky" when we are also internally nattering away about why "this will never work." Your creativity is limited by your belief. Period.

Unfortunately, many social norms of the workplace stifle creativity and innovation. Good ideas and ideal solutions are lost because they were never given the chance to grow and be discovered.

Creativity and inspiration come when we are relaxed and anything is possible. This is why some of your best ideas come to you in the shower or while walking in nature.

Learn how to cultivate an environment and culture that supports creative solutions to blossom on their own.

  • Mindful Movement

    • Experience the benefits of mindfulness, yoga, and relaxation as you quite the mind and listen to your body as it guides you into gentle stretches and strengthening exercises. Undo the negative effects of sitting in front of a screen all day. If you pay attention, your body will tell you exactly what it needs and wants.

Strengthening your communication between your mind and body will also help you develop mindfulness and intuition that will keep you calm and collected throughout your day, on track with what is important and healthier overall.

Jessica will lead the group through gentle and relaxed movement that will help connect you to the present moment and internal wisdom.

Seminars and Retreats

Each workshop topic is expanded in full-day seminars or multi-day retreats. Please contact Jessica to create a customized seminar for the needs of your people.

Corporate Coaching

Help your leaders perform at their best by receiving coaching. Coaching is a strategic conversation that allows the "coachee" to tap into their most creative resources and confidence to empower them to take incrementally improved action. In taking this strategic action, they will grow as leaders and individuals because they are constantly challenging themselves by taking steps outside of their comfort zones.
