Turn Yourself Up Podcast Season 2 - Ripples of Good

The Turn Yourself Podcast is back for its second transformational season. Host and Coach, Jessica Watson, shares her wisdom on creating positive change in your life and becoming the "You" of your dreams. The kind of "You" that lives the life you want to live and does the things you want to do!

Jessica explores self-care, creativity, and the relationship between our body and mind. The more self-awareness you gain, the more you are able to make BIG things happen in your life. This podcast will help you LISTEN to your body, LISTEN to your mind, and learn to bring the two together to find flow, ease, and the present moment.

You can expect to be enthralled by conversations with intelligent, creative, and honest guests, recorded coaching sessions with Jessica, and insights from the Creative Coach herself.

Stay tuned for new episodes of the Turn Yourself Up Podcast every Monday and Friday.

Jen has so many lessons to share with us from her own experience and wisdom from Jewish texts. It was a really fascinating and refreshing conversation.

#12 - The Stories We Tell Ourselves

#12 - The Stories We Tell Ourselves

Our beliefs are formed from stories. We take little meanings from our experiences and decide to take them as truth. Unconsciously of course. Until we over come the story by happening around it or actively change it, we are unknowingly controlled by these little rules.

I discover stories about myself often. I try my best, when I discover a story that is negatively serving me to decide not to believe it. If it is just a story, I can choose to believe a new story. It is up to me what I believe and what rule influences my decisions.

Today I unveiled a new story.

#05 - Letting Go of Expectations and Moving into Fun Flow

#05 - Letting Go of Expectations and Moving into Fun Flow

The end of the year is often a time of reflection on the past and desires for the future. But if we approach it from an angle of expectation, where we thought we should be at this time, what results we wanted to have, we can really stress ourselves out if our reality looks a little different.

I caught myself trying to fit the present moment into expectations instead of playing and flowing naturally with what is.

This is just a little reminder to help you let go of expectations with me.

#03 - What is Life Coaching?

#03 - What is Life Coaching?

In this episode I’ll give you a intro to what life coaching is. It’s not just this hippy-dippy, touchy-feely woo woo stuff. It is actual practical resources and processes to help you achieve the goals you want to reach.

A life coach is a lot like a sports coach (it is branched off of sports coaching). Being a figure skating coach, I can easily draw the similarities and each experience improves the other.

In skating, I wear different hats. I am a teacher of skills, I am a critic, I am a choreographer, I am a goal setter, I am a planner, I am a guide, I am a manager and I am a cheerleader.

With life coaching, I am a listener, I am a questioner, I am a goal setter, I am a planner, I am a guide, I am a manager, I am a cheerleader.

I met Sheena this summer at the I AM Festival and immediately fell in love with her voice, authenticity and loveliness.

Sheena Grobb is a self-described song bird. She is a singer-songwriter, speaker and health coach with a background teaching in high schools. Her voice has been compared to greats like Sarah McLachlan and Norah Jones, with a delicacy which is almost a whisper at times that creates a sound so sweet and unique that is unmistakably hers.

Sheena was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when she was 16-years-old and has learned to overcome some of her symptoms and struggles by listening to her body, learning how to express and feel her emotions and taking care of herself.
